Abisola is a product and agile delivery leader with experience delivering public sector digital services at scale. As Head of Africa at Public Digital, he leads our work across the continent.

An experienced consultant, Abisola has guided digital modernisation and transformation across a number of verticals in the public and private sector. He began his technology career as a software developer, and subsequently moved into product delivery and coaching. Entrepreneurial in nature, Abisola also founded tech businesses in Nigeria. He now serves on the board of a leading asset management firm based in Nigeria.

Abisola thrives on collaborating across disciplines to tackle complex challenges and has a passion for equitable service delivery, even to the most marginalised and vulnerable communities.

Previously, Abisola served as Chief Product and Technology Officer for the UK's Government Digital Service. There, he oversaw the platforms powering payments and notifications on GOV.UK and launched the national Emergency Alerts service. Before that, he held the position of Director of Strategy at GDS.
