Adam is a digital transformation and agile delivery expert who helps people, teams and organisations set themselves up for successful delivery.

Adam was Deputy Director of Transformation at the Department for Education where, with Kate Tarling, he helped orient the department around the delivery of user-centred, outcome-focused services, setting up user research and service design professions.

He was Head of Delivery Management at NHS Digital, supporting programmes across patient-facing and Urgent and Emergency Care domains; and Head of Agile Delivery at the Government Digital Service, where he developed the first cross-government digital profession framework.

Prior to becoming a civil servant, he spent 10 years working with local authorities and national government improving information sharing across social care, health and education, and was vice-chair of Tech UK’s Health and Social Care Management Committee.
