Amy McNichol

Amy helps digital teams communicate their work – and the way they work – to the people who need to understand it. This will often be stakeholders whose expertise sit outside the tech and digital sector. She’s worked with and advised organisations such as Co-op Digital and the UK’s Government Digital Service. She also led the content design at the Office for Product Safety and Standards (BEIS) and the Race Disparity Unit (Cabinet Office).

Amy has a masters degree in magazine journalism where she learnt to put the reader first – which translates nicely into putting the user first in the digital teams she’s been part of since. She’s been published by the Independent, ABTA magazine, BBC Top of the Pops, Gardens Illustrated and has written short stories for the Mr Men brand.
