Blessing Ajimoti is a Programme Manager at Public Digital. Her background is in policy, digital innovation and entrepreneurship, business enabling reforms, private sector development and digital skills development.
Prior to joining Public Digital, Blessing was a Policy Advisor on a €57m German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) programme and led the technical assistance to a Nigerian state government on their business enabling reforms for private sector and socioeconomic development.
Her previous experience also includes: the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (part of the Nigerian government office) and She Leads Africa, where Blessing managed an Oxfam and Venture Capital for an Africa-funded startup accelerator. She has worked with Generation UK and Ireland where, in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Prince’s Trust, she developed initiatives to improve access to in-demand digital skills and jobs.
More recently, Blessing served with the Nigeria Startup Bill Secretariat in the facilitation of Nigeria’s Presidency and tech ecosystem’s co-creation of the Nigeria Startup Act 2022 for the growth of digital-enabled startups in Nigeria.
