Maria is a Principal Consultant at Public Digital. She brings experience in tech policy and service design at both local and central government. She previously led on policy development to support tech startups and scale-ups at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) in the UK Government.
Prior to DSIT, she led on the design of several new services at the Greater London Authority, including an open innovation platform for the public sector and a city-wide procurement platform. She worked closely with city leaders to co-design innovative solutions to city problems and implement digital ways of working across teams.
Born in Kyiv, Ukraine and raised in Cyprus, she is a native Russian speaker. She holds an MSc in Politics from the London School of Economics.
