Nick is a Programme Manager at Public Digital. He specialises in research and advisory work around digital government, leading and supporting client engagements that help development partners and international organisations deliver on their research, advocacy, and convening agendas.
Before joining Public Digital, Nick worked on research, policy, and advocacy at the Digital Impact Alliance, where he did research on a range of topics around national digital transformation processes and digital government service delivery. Before that, he was a researcher at the University of Copenhagen and worked and volunteered in several NGOs in the United States, Denmark, and India.
Nick has expertise in national digital transformation in low-resource settings, specialising in areas like open-source in government, digital government service delivery, strategic decision-making, and public financial management. He has delivered research and advisory work alongside international partner organisations like UNDP and Smart Africa, as well as worked on engagements in countries like Sierra Leone and Kenya.
Nick holds an undergraduate dual degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Political Science and History, and graduated with an MSc in Global Development from the University of Copenhagen in 2018.
